Example · a real thread, start to finish

One memo, two revisions, nothing lost.

Mara asks her team’s agent for a client memo in chat. The agent writes it into Docgent, she asks for two changes, and both versions, the diff and the exports are there at the end. Names and content are fictional; the interaction is exactly how it works.

AGENT: SCOUT · CONNECTED TO DOCGENT

@Scout can you write up the Cedar Works strategy memo in Docgent under the fieldnotes brand? Recommend a workshop programme before any wider rollout, budget around US$12k. You may need a new token.

  2. ScoutAPPTue at 9:12 AM

On it. I’m reading the Cedar Works discovery notes first so the recommendation matches what we actually heard, then I’ll write the Docgent draft.

Quick heads-up while I write: the brand has two memo templates, memo and memo-long. I’ll use memo unless you say otherwise.

  3. ScoutAPPTue at 9:14 AM

The memo is written, but I can’t save it yet: I don’t have a Docgent token for the fieldnotes brand. Once you send one I’ll run the token check and create the document as v1.

    What it covers:

    • Recommendation: a focused workshop programme before committing to a wider rollout.
    • Budget and decision: working budget US$12,000, proceed in stages.
    • What to check next: scope, owner and revised budget before sharing.

Token works. Brand fieldnotes, scope documents:write. Creating the document now.

Three sections, one page. The PDF is attached so you can read it before sharing.

    • I saved the token in my workspace, so I can use Docgent directly from now on.
    • I left client contact details out of the memo; they’re in the CRM.
    • If anything is off, tell me the change and I’ll save it as v2. v1 stays in the history either way.

@Scout shorten the pilot to one quarter with a go/no-go at week 10, and move the budget to 14,500 to cover two follow-up sessions. Keep everything else as is.

  8. ScoutAPPTue at 9:42 AM

Saved as v2. Two changes, nothing else touched:

    • Pilot length: six months one quarter, with a go/no-go review at week 10
    • Working budget: US$12,000 US$14,500, covering facilitation and two follow-up sessions

Perfect. Send me the DOCX too, their ops lead wants to add a section.
